Soon after witnessing the beauty of the blowhole, we proceed to wildlife sanctuary of either Yala or Udawalawe. Both wildlife sanctuaries are very popular national parks in Sri Lanka and you get a chance to witness beautiful animals.

As an alternative, we may explore the rain forest of Kanneliya which is located 40 km north from Unawatuna. This rainforest is hailed as one of the most biologically diverse areas in the country. The most ideal time period to visit the rainforest is between the months of December to February.
